Dan Philpott

Dan Philpott

Chief Executive Officer and Director

Dan Philpott has wide ranging experience in managing complex, high technology start-ups, having previously held senior positions with Digital Equipment Corporation, Intel Ireland and Johnson & Johnson. More recently Dan worked as a program manager with the European Commission, designing and implementing reconstruction and economic aid packages (total value in excess of €100M) in the Balkans. With Intel he served as a member of the core team, which started up Intel’s first European semiconductor plant. He performed a similar role with Johnson & Johnson when it invested in its first Irish medical device fabrication site. He holds a first class Bachelor of Production engineering degree from the University of Limerick and an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix. Dan is a chartered engineer with the Institute of Engineers for Ireland.

Vincent Grady

Financial Controller

Vincent Grady is EnBIO’s financial controller. He has a wealth of relevant experience in the medical device sector complimented with experience in the electronic and environmental sector. He holds an Honors Business Studies Degree from the University of Limerick and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young. He has start-up experience with Dell Computers when they set up a manufacturing facility in Ireland and also assisted with the Dell start-up in Malaysia. Vincent carried out a similar role with Johnson & Johnson when they set up their Vistakon plant in Limerick. His most recent experience is as Financial Controller of the environmental division of an Irish plc. This division has grown from a turnover of €3 million to in excess of €30million in the past 7 years and was achieved through organic growth and strategic acquisition.
