Paddy Caffrey

Director

Paddy is the former VP and managing director of Pfizer Ireland Pharmaceuticals. He has over 30 years experience in this industry. During 2004 he was the president of the Institute of Engineers of Ireland. He was a former chairman of the Irish branch of the international society of pharmaceutical engineering and is a member of IBEC's national executive council. He is chairman of the Cork Institute of Technology Governing board .With his extensive experience and contacts in EnBIO's target markets he will play a pivotal role in EnBIO's success.

Pat Forristal

Director

Pat has held a number of senior leadership positions in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices and Engineering industries, both in Ireland and Internationally. His roles have encompassed responsibility for start-up, growth and operation of a number of technology based enterprises in culturally diverse business environments. Most recently, with Stryker Orthopaedics, Pat was responsible for the establishment of their first operation in Ireland, which supplies implantable orthopaedic reconstruction products to worldwide markets. Under his leadership, the business underwent a number of successful expansions to its current size, employing more than 350 people. Subsequently, as Vice President, International Advanced Operations with Stryker, Pat had responsibility for Product Innovation, Business & Process Development and Manufacturing Strategy for Stryker's International Orthopaedics facilities in Ireland and France. He has served on the board of the Irish Medical Devices Association for a number of years and as chairman during the Association’s most recent strategy review cycle in 2007 and 2008.A native of New Ross, Co. Wexford, Pat is a graduate of UCD, where he studied Mechanical Engineering, and is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers of Ireland.
